The Society for Acute Medicine's 2025 Spring Conference will take place on 8-9 May 2025 at Hinxton Hall Conference Centre, Cambridgeshire. In-person places at the conference have now sold out and we welcome you to register as a Virtual Attendee. Virtual attendees are able to watch ALL sessions online, both live and on demand, for 4 months following the conference. The conference virtual platform also offers the opportunity to message and network with other attendees. View the delegate fees: Fees are lower for SAM Members so JOIN SAM Nurses / AHPs / Pharmacists / Pharmacy Technicians / PAs qualify for the 3 for 2 offer: pay for 2 places and 3 people can attend as delegates. Abstract submission for SAMontheCAM is now closed: Results were sent to all authors on 20 March SAM invite authors to submit an abstract for display at SAMontheCAM in the online ePoster showcase and as a full sized poster at the event. A selection of the best abstracts may also be invited to take part in an oral presentation on the main conference programme or as a 2-minute "lightning presentation" of your poster in the conference breaks. SAM are offering the Presenting Author (1 per poster) a 35% discount on delegate fees if attending SAMontheCAM for 2-days in-person or as a virtual attendee. This discount will not be applied to 1-day attendance fees as we encourage poster presenters to attend for the full conference. SAM Ultrasound Course, Wednesday 7 May, Hinxton Hall Cost: £50 SAM Members | £150 non-SAM members | SOLD OUT This course is aimed at providing the foundations for the 3 core FAMUS modules: thoracic, abdominal/renal and DVT/peripheral vascular access. Attendees must have completed the FAMUS e-LFH module. Online lecture access will be provided ahead of the course. *Please note the course is 1/2 day and will run twice on the 7th of May.
